On April 15, 2015, a young female protester interrupted the press conference taking place at the headquarters of the European Central Bank in Frankfurt. She jumped onto the podium, shouting in English “end to the ECB’s dictatorship”, and attacked Mario Draghi by throwing at him protest sheets and confetti, reminding of a performative gesture that we have alsready seen before.
